How to read the Pulse
Every tile is a real thumbnail
Each block is a video from today’s charts or the two days before, shown whole and unaltered. Tiles are placed where their colours fit — never recoloured to fit.
Gold light marks breakouts
Every few seconds a pulse of light spreads out from the centre, and each breakout answers as it passes: a thread of light runs halfway round its frame at 4× its channel’s usual views, all the way round at 6×, and twice round at 10×, leaving a steady glow.
Scroll to regroup
The picture breaks apart into a grid: one column per country, today’s top 50 top to bottom. The fastest 20% by views per hour get a red frame, and the same video lights up in every country it charts in.
