Riivla for Chrome
YouTube's trending rankings in a popup: daily rankings, rank movement, new entries, rising videos, and each region's #1, across 12 countries.
Works in Chrome · Private by design
What it does
The trending list YouTube removed, rebuilt with movement and cross-region context.
Daily trending rankings
The top trending videos for your region, refreshed every six hours. The unified list YouTube retired, back in one place.
Rank movement & new entries
See who climbed, who fell, and what's brand-new on the chart at a glance. Breakout videos are tagged with how far they beat their channel's usual views.
Rising tab
Catch breakouts early: the biggest climbers and fresh entries across the whole chart, not just the top.
Every region, one popup
Jump between the US, Korea, Japan and more, plus a world view of each region's current #1.
Category charts
Switch to Music, Gaming, Sports and more to see YouTube's own chart for that category, like the old Trending tabs.
Know what's new
A number on the toolbar icon shows how many videos in your Top 10 are new since you last opened it. Opening the popup clears it.
Ranks while you watch
Optional: turn on "Show ranks on YouTube videos" and a small label shows where the video you're watching is trending, like "Trending in 4 countries · US #1 · CA #10".

No account and no tracking. The trending list is downloaded to your browser and matched there, so what you watch never leaves it.

FAQ
- How do I install the Riivla extension?
- Just add it to Chrome from the Web Store and open the popup. No setup required.
- What data does the extension collect?
- Your preferences (region, category, theme), the last rankings you opened and which of those videos you have seen, all stored locally in your browser so the popup opens instantly and the badge can count new videos. Once an hour it fetches the public rankings for your region from riivla.com. If you turn on YouTube ranks, it also downloads the public list of trending videos and reads only the video ID of the YouTube page you are on to match it locally; that ID is never sent anywhere. If you submit the in-popup feedback form, the email and message you enter are sent to us so we can reply. Nothing else is collected, sold, or shared.
- Which countries are supported?
- Twelve regions: United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Mexico, Canada, and Spain.
- There is already a website, so why an extension?
- Same data, faster. Check the day's trending rankings from any tab in a click, without leaving what you're doing.
