DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated: June 29, 2026
1. Introduction
Riivla ("we", "our", "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy outlines how we handle copyright-related matters and the procedure for submitting a DMCA takedown notice.
Riivla is operated by MNIII, an individual based in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
2. Nature of Content on Riivla
Riivla is a YouTube trending media site that displays publicly available data obtained through the YouTube API. The content displayed on our platform includes:
- Video metadata: Titles, descriptions, view counts, and publication dates from YouTube's public trending lists
- Channel information: Channel names, subscriber counts, and profile images as provided by the YouTube Data API
- Thumbnail images: Video thumbnails served directly from YouTube's CDN (i.ytimg.com)
- Original commentary: Editorial analysis and commentary written by Riivla
We do not host, store, or redistribute any copyrighted video content. All video playback occurs on YouTube's platform. Thumbnail images come from YouTube's servers (i.ytimg.com); we may temporarily cache optimized copies to speed up delivery, but we do not host the underlying videos.
3. YouTube API Services Compliance
Riivla uses YouTube API Services in compliance with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Our use of YouTube data is limited to:
- Displaying publicly available trending data for analytical purposes
- Providing original commentary and editorial insights
- Linking back to original content on YouTube for full viewing
4. Data Removal Requests
Riivla displays publicly available metadata obtained through YouTube's API. We do not host video content, music, or copyrighted materials. All data is sourced from YouTube's public trending lists.
If you are a content creator and wish to request that your channel or video no longer appear in Riivla's trending displays, please contact us directly at rii.mniii@gmail.com with "Data Removal Request" in the subject line. This is distinct from a DMCA takedown notice. It is a voluntary removal request that we will honor in good faith.
Note: Because Riivla does not store video files or copyrighted content, a formal DMCA takedown notice is generally not the appropriate mechanism for removing analytics data derived from YouTube's public API. For removal of actual video content, please contact YouTube directly.
5. DMCA Takedown Procedure
If you believe that content on Riivla infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be effective, a notification must include the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Location of the material on our website that you claim is infringing (specific URL)
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement of good faith that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
6. Contact for DMCA Notices
Please send all DMCA takedown notices to our designated copyright agent:
DMCA Copyright Agent
MNIII
Email: rii.mniii@gmail.com
Please include "DMCA Takedown" in the subject line.
We will respond to valid takedown notices within 5 business days and will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly.
7. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our copyright agent. The counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
8. Fair Use and Transformative Content
Riivla's content is primarily analytical and transformative in nature. We provide original data analysis, commentary, and insights based on publicly available trending data. Our use of metadata such as video titles, channel names, and thumbnails serves the purpose of identification and analysis, not reproduction of copyrighted works.
We believe our use constitutes fair use under applicable copyright law, as it is transformative, non-commercial in nature with respect to the original works, and does not substitute for the original content.
9. Repeat Infringers
While Riivla is an analytics platform that does not host user-generated content, we are committed to addressing any legitimate copyright concerns promptly and in good faith.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this DMCA & Copyright Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
